猎户活动变量星的次星：理论视角

摘要
我们应用新一代低质量恒星模型来研究位于周期间隙以上系统的次星，聚焦于该领域。模型确认红外类型应是捐献质量的良好指示器。轨道周期-红外类型图可用于约束长期平均质量转移率。最容易与观测数据一致的转移率模式是随着周期减小而增加的转移率。
