高红移处的超大质量黑洞

摘要

MeV 耀变体是宇宙中最明亮的持久源,其大部分能量在 MeV 波段发射。这些天体显示出极大的喷流功率和吸积光度,并且已知其中心宿主黑洞质量常超过 109M10^9 M_{\odot}。新一代 MeV 望远镜将弥合当前一代硬 X 射线与伽马射线仪器之间在能量和灵敏度上的全部鸿沟,由其进行的 MeV 巡天将探测到红移达 z=56z=5-6>1000>1000 个 MeV 耀变体。本文表明这将使我们能够:1) 探究高红移处超大质量黑洞的形成与增长机制,2) 精确定位强耀变体中发射区的位置,3) 确定吸积与黑洞自旋如何相互作用以驱动喷流。
