东亚VLBI网观测的M87超分辨图像

摘要

在厘米或更长短波长上获取高分辨率图像对理解喷流物理至关重要。我们利用正则化最大似然(RML)方法从东亚VLBI网(EAVN)观测的M87 22 GHz数据重建图像,该方法不同于传统成像方法CLEAN。结果检测到明亮核及向西北延伸约30 mas的喷流,分辨率高于CLEAN图像。喷流在距核0.3 mas处宽度为0.5 mas,与先前研究中86 GHz图像测得宽度一致。此外,在距核约8 mas处能检测到三条脊,尽管峰间间隔仅1.0 mas。这表明RML图像空间分辨率至少比CLEAN图像高30%。本研究对EAVN未来多频率高节奏观测以探讨喷流更精细结构及其时间变异性是重要一步。
