红外暗云中的恒星形成:自引力与动力学

摘要
引力在星际物质从分子云尺度向原恒星尺度传输过程中所起的作用仍高度争议。只有对大样本恒星形成云的运动学进行详细研究才能解决此问题。我们展示了利用IRAM 30m望远镜对27个红外暗云样本的新观测,这些云涵盖广泛的尺度、质量和轴比范围。初步结果表明,引力在数秒差距尺度上调节着这些云的动力学演化。
