摘要

SPIDER 是一种气球载仪器,旨在大角尺度上绘制毫米波天空的偏振图。SPIDER 以宇宙微波背景(CMB)中原初引力波的 B 模特征为目标,重点在于以多频高精度绘制大面积天区。SPIDER 于 2015 年 1 月的首次长航时气球(LDB)飞行部署了共计 2400 个 90 GHz 与 150 GHz 的天线耦合过渡边缘传感器(TES)。本文中我们回顾 SPIDER 仪器的设计与飞行性能,特别关注探测器与仪器在类空间负载及辐射环境下的实测表现。SPIDER 于 2018 年 12 月的第二次飞行将纳入载荷升级与新接收机,以 285 GHz 绘制天图,为从 CMB 图中去除偏振尘埃辐射提供有价值的信息。
