我们利用南双子望远镜和我们的散斑成像相机获得了TRAPPIST-1最高分辨率的图像。在692和883 nm观测，我们达到了望远镜的衍射极限，提供了27毫角秒的最佳分辨率，或者在TRAPPIST-1的距离上，空间分辨率为0.32天文单位。我们对恒星的成像范围从0.32延伸到14.5天文单位。我们表明，在很高的置信水平下，我们可以排除所有可能的恒星和棕矮星伴星，表明TRAPPIST-1是一颗单星。
