溶液法制备具有磁控极化的大面积多铁性复杂氧化物外延薄膜

摘要

具有可调结构的复杂氧化物具有许多引人入胜的性质,但具有精确控制组成的高质量复杂氧化物外延仍难以实现。本文成功开发了用于多铁性(1-x)BiTi(1-y)/2FeyMg(1-y)/2O3-(x)CaTiO3(BTFM-CTO)固溶体大面积溶液基单晶外延,并在原子尺度上确认其铁电性,自发极化达79~89 uC/cm2。细致的组分调控使其在室温下具有约0.07 uB/Fe的体磁化强度,从而实现磁诱导极化翻转,展现出2.7-3.0×10-7 s/m的大磁电系数。本工作展示了溶液法在大面积复杂氧化物外延中的巨大潜力,并在外延BTFM-CTO薄膜中建立了新颖的室温磁电耦合,使得探索更广阔的组成、相和结构空间成为可能,且可轻易放大规模用于工业应用。
