平均能量$\langle E_\nu \rangle = $ 3.6 GeV下碳氢化合物上由带电流$\bar{\nu}_\mu$相互作用产生的单中性π介子

摘要

利用暴露于费米实验室NuMI低能宽带反中微子束的\minerva探测器,研究了塑料闪烁体(CH)中通过μ子反中微子带电流相互作用产生单中性π介子。对该过程的测量约束了核内中性π介子产生模型,这很重要,因为其中性流类似过程是νˉe\bar{\nu}_e出现振荡实验的本底。给出了具有单个观测到的π0\pi^0且无带电π介子的事件中π0\pi^0动量和产生角的微分截面,并与模型预测比较。这些结果构成了该过程π0\pi^0运动学的首次测量。
