基于 J-PET 断层扫描仪通过康普顿散射对湮灭光子偏振的模拟研究

摘要

J-PET 是首台由塑料闪烁体构成的正电子发射断层扫描仪(PET)。它针对探测电子-正电子湮灭产生的光子进行了优化。此类能量为 511 keV 的光子,在塑料闪烁体中主要通过康普顿效应与电子相互作用。康普顿散射在最垂直于相互作用光子电场矢量的角度处概率最大。因此,利用 J-PET 记录多次光子散射可确定湮灭光子的偏振。本文中,我们给出关于以 J-PET 探测器确定 511511~keV 光子偏振精度的物理限制的估计。
