摘要
秉承 Trimble 的“Astrophysics in XXXX”系列精神，我极为简要且主观地回顾了 2020 年 SETI（搜寻地外文明）领域的进展。我的主要关注对象是 2020 年发表或公开的 75 篇论文与著作，将其归入六大宽泛类别：实际搜寻的结果、新搜寻方法与仪器、目标与频率选择、技术特征的发展、地外智能（ETI）理论，以及 SETI 的社会层面。
