准周期铅单层的自组装、结构与电子性质

摘要
在 Al-Pd-Mn 准晶体的五重表面上形成了一层准周期 Pb 单层。该单层的生长通过相互连接的五角形 Pb 星网络的自组装进行，研究表明这些结构元素相对于准周期衬底的类似结构元素发生了 膨胀。利用扫描隧道谱和紫外光电子能谱对该系统的电子结构进行的测量表明，Pb 单层在费米能级处显示出伪能隙，这与其准周期结构直接相关。
