萨哈与磁单极子

摘要
梅格纳德·萨哈在印度科学史上占有特殊地位，早在殖民压迫时期，他就已是印度科学组织的先驱，并为后殖民时代的印度留下了重要遗产，如萨哈核物理研究所。他以天体物理学研究而闻名，同时也在磁单极子理论方面做出了重要但不太为人所知的贡献。本文试图对其理论及其意义进行基础性综述，并特别强调萨哈的工作，论证后者对基础物理学产生了深远影响。
