再论中子星吸积导致的磁场掩埋

摘要
毫秒脉冲星(MSP)的表面磁场强度被发现比普通射电脉冲星(自旋周期约 秒,磁场 G)低约4个数量级。MSP中磁场强度明显降低的确切机制仍是一个争论的话题。提出的机制之一是从伴星吸积的物质掩埋了表面磁场。本文回顾了关于中子星极区吸积物质磁约束的最新研究。我们给出了采用更精确的磁约束等离子体状态方程的磁静力学方程的解,并讨论了其对磁场掩埋机制的影响。
