尽管活动星系核（AGN）反馈被广泛接受为调节大质量星系增长所必需，但其仍具争议。2017 年 10 月 16-20 日，在莱顿的洛伦兹中心举办了专门研讨会，从观测角度区分 AGN 反馈的现实与迷思。在此，我们简要总结所有环节及这一启发性研讨会的成果。讨论成果的更多细节在一系列文章中给出。
