软伽玛暴复活与精确IPN定位：SGR1900+14

摘要
1998年5月，软伽玛暴中继者SGR1900+14从数年的静默状态中复活，发出一系列强烈的暴涨，其中一次的时间历史与该来源以前观察到的任何记录都不同。利用乌里斯斯、BATSE和KONUS的数据进行三角测量，给出位于银河超新星残留物G42.8+0.6附近1.6平方弧分钟的误差盒。该误差盒包含一个静默的软X射线源，可能是与软伽玛暴中继者相关联的中子星。
