来自 DES 标准星场连续谱反响映射的类星体吸积盘尺寸

摘要

测量活动星系核中吸积盘的物理性质对于更好地理解超大质量黑洞的增长和演化十分重要。我们呈现了来自连续谱反响映射的 22 个类星体的吸积盘尺寸,数据取自暗能量巡天(DES)标准星场和超新星 C 场。我们构建了带有 \textit{griz} 测光的连续谱光变曲线,涵盖五个季节的 DES 观测。这些数据以短至一天的 cadence 采样类星体的时间变率,对应于比以往多数工作高几倍的静止系 cadence。我们用 JAVELIN 和插值互相关函数方法推导波段间时间滞后,并使用 JAVELIN 薄盘模型拟合吸积盘尺寸。这些新测量包括围绕质量小至 107\sim10^7 MM_{\odot} 黑洞的盘,其在 2500\AA 处的等效静止系尺寸小至 0.1\sim 0.1 光日。我们发现,当我们考虑盘变率时,大多数天体的吸积盘尺寸与标准薄盘模型的预测一致。我们还模拟了大型综合巡天望远镜深钻场在各种观测场景下吸积盘测量的预期产量。我们发现,若默认 cadence 从三天改为两天或一天,盘测量数量将显著增加。
