耦合磁性杂质模型中的量子相变

摘要

我们讨论了与金属基体耦合的相互作用磁性杂质模型。如果杂质自旋之和的两倍大于主机筛选通道的总数,系统会表现出一或多种量子相变,其中基态自旋随杂质间耦合而变化。最简单的例子是由两个自旋-1/2 Kondo 杂质耦合到主机单个轨道上实现的,该模型 exhibit 了 singlet-doublet 相变。我们研究了该模型的相图和横截面行为,present Numerical Renormalization Group results,并提出一般性论证表明,量子相变要么是一阶,要么是 Kosterlitz-Thouless 类型,取决于 Kondo 耦合的对称性。讨论了与其他模型的联系及可能的应用。
