事件形状排序的前景

摘要
事件形状排序是一种新方法，旨在对碰撞事件样本进行组织，使得具有相似末态强子分布的事件被排序到彼此相近的位置。此类事件很可能具有相似的演化过程。因此，该方法能够聚焦于碰撞演化更精细的特征，因为它允许对相似事件取平均而不抹去这些特征。本文简要说明了该算法。我们还指出了事件形状排序与成熟技术事件形状工程之间的区别。
