基于钍-229的核光频标的前景

摘要

钍-229的7.6-eV同核异能态提供了对核跃迁进行高分辨率激光光谱测量的机会。我们简要回顾了对该同核异能态的研究。连接基态和同核异能态的核共振可用作极高精度光钟的参考,该光钟使用囚禁和激光冷却的钍离子,或者可用作高稳定性的紧凑型固态光频标。
