摘要
美国能源部核能办公室正规划一种综合废物管理方法，作为综合废物管理（IWM）计划的一部分，用于运输、贮存并最终处置乏核燃料及其他高水平放射性废物。为支持该工作，IWM 计划内正在开发利益相关者放射性物质运输评估工具（Stakeholder Tool for Assessing Radioactive Transportation, START）。这是一个基于网络的决策支持工具，可用于分析与乏核燃料（SNF）和高水平放射性废物（HLW）运输相关的地理空间数据。
