利用卡内基超新星计划与CfA超新星组的测光热光变曲线探测Ia型超新星性质

摘要
我们基于卡内基超新星计划(Carnegie Supernova Project)和CfA超新星组(CfA Supernova Group)的Ia型超新星(SNe Ia)多波段测光构建了热光变曲线,并利用近红外观测对宿主星系尘埃消光提供稳健约束。这组光变曲线构成了一个测量良好的参考集,用于与理论模型比较。利用半解析贝叶斯光变曲线模型,并根据SALT2和SNooPy光变曲线拟合器的光变曲线宽度参数给出拟合公式,从每条SN Ia的热光变曲线推断其抛射质量与合成的Ni质量。我们确认了微弱的热宽度-光度关系,以及抛射质量与热光变曲线宽度之间的相关性。可能具有亚钱德拉塞卡抛射质量的SNe Ia优先属于宽线和冷光球光谱亚型,并且比与钱德拉塞卡质量爆发一致的SNe Ia具有更高的光球速度和更年老、质量更高的宿主星系。两个特殊事件SN 2006bt和SN 2006ot具有正常的峰值光度,但似乎具有超钱德拉塞卡抛射质量。
