预测一种新的半金属抗磁性材料类

摘要
我们报告了离子空位诱导的 MnO 和 NiO 这两种 Mott 绝缘体中的半金属性。通过在磁性体系中嵌入阴离子空位，为构建半金属抗磁性材料开辟了一条新途径。对于 NiO，我们发现它是一个半金属抗磁体，这类材料此前仅用于较复杂的晶体结构中。
