预测Kepler观测的太阳型恒星中振荡的可探测性

摘要

太阳型恒星的星震学在NASA Kepler任务的系外行星计划中发挥着重要作用。地震数据使得对恒星性质的精确且准确的推断成为可能,从而能够对系外行星系统施加非常严格的约束。在此,我们概述了如何利用对温度和半径的粗略估计以及Kepler视星等,来估计任何给定Kepler目标中类太阳振荡的可探测性。
