双光子生产中事件形状的精确预测

摘要

光子对生产是 LHC 上的重要基准过程，进入希格斯玻色子研究和新物理搜索。其已被高精度测量，允许对双光子最终状态中的事件形状进行详细研究。为实现双光子事件形状的精度物理计算，我们计算了它们的二阶 QCD 修正， ${\cal O} (\alpha_s^3)$ ，并研究其现象学影响。
