MWC560 可能的 M 型巨星脉动

摘要
MWC 560 及其他异常的双星系统 CH Cyg 被归类为新的星际系统亚类——“螺旋”系统，其中磁性白矮星上的吸积是活动的来源。该模型中的热成分的伴星应表现出较高质量损失的星风。可以预期的是，晚期 AGB、Mira 或准规则变星（SR）而非普通红巨星。我们对 I 波段的分析表明，M 型巨星可能属于此类恒星，并以约 5 个月的周期脉动。
