关于双星星系的质量传递过程——罗赫海洞溢出或星风——以及可能形成吸积盘的问题，始终是这一领域的基本问题之一。YY Her、CI Cyg 和 BF Cyg 在静止光曲线中出现的二次最小值的存在似乎由于红巨星的椭圆变形所致，本文提供了重要的线索。
