摘要

在 ILC 的当前设计中， $L^*$ （相互作用点与末级聚焦磁铁 (QD0) 前表面之间的距离）为 4.1 m。QD0 由悬臂式支撑从探测器平台支承，或从探测器本身支承。该设计可能导致 ILC 平稳运行或探测器维护方面的若干困难。采用更长 $L^*$ 的光学设计可缓解这些困难。本文讨论更长 $L^*$ 对探测器的可能益处。
