0735+178极化VLBI观测

摘要
我们报告了对BL Lac对象0735+178的新一枚厘米极化VLBI图像。这一源显示出AGN喷流中最显著的曲率之一，核心内2毫弧秒内出现两个锐利的90度明显弯曲。通过分析数十年来收集的数据，我们研究这种曲率是由喷流预cession伴随球形成分子运动，还是以喷流轴向始终平行于分子速度矢量方式的precession所致。这些可能性也通过与3D相对论性hydrodynamic模拟的precessing喷流进行比较来研究。
