K巨星BD+20 274和HD 219415周围的行星

我们报告了由正在进行的宾夕法尼亚州立大学-托伦行星巡天（PTPS）使用9.2米霍比-埃伯利望远镜发现的两颗巨星周围的行星质量伴星。其中质量较小的恒星K5巨星BD+20 274有一颗最小质量为4.2 的行星，轨道周期为578天，以及一个更远的、可能是恒星质量的伴星。目前可用的最佳模型表明，围绕K0巨星HD 219415的行星是一颗木星质量伴星，轨道周期为5.7年，偏心率较大，使其成为我们巡天中探测到的周期最长的行星。该行星的速度半振幅约为18 m/s，与巨星典型的径向速度“抖动”中值相当。
