本文介绍了 Planck 低频仪器(LFI)在轨波束、波束窗函数及相关不确定性的表征。了解波束轮廓对于确定从观测到的天空各向异性功率谱到实际天空各向异性功率谱的传递函数是必要的。主波束畸变会影响波束窗函数,使高多重极处的各向异性功率谱重构复杂化,而旁瓣则影响低和中等多重极。LFI 主波束的在轨评估依赖于木星观测期间进行的测量。通过叠加多次木星凌日的数据,在 30 和 44 GHz 处主波束轮廓被测量至 -20 dB,在 70 GHz 处至 -25 dB。每个 LFI 频带的主波束立体角确定精度优于 0.2%。Planck 发射前的光学模型经过适当调整,可独立于任何噪声效应来表征主波束。这种方法提供了一个光学模型,其波束在主波束区域完全复现测量结果,同时也允许描述低于木星测量本身所能达到的功率水平的波束。模拟波束与测量波束在每个 LFI 频带的一致性优于 1%。模拟波束用于计算有效波束的窗函数。窗函数的误差预算估计自主波束和旁瓣贡献,并考虑了辐射计频带形状。有效波束窗函数的总不确定性为:在 600\ell \approx 600 处,30 和 44 GHz 分别为 2% 和 1.2%;在 1000\ell \approx 1000 处,70 GHz 为 0.7%。
