本文提出了 Frenkel-Kontorova 模型的一种修正，其中允许粒子在垂直方向上运动。该模型用于研究一维界面单层情况下岛屿的形成及相应的粗糙化转变。本文采用了解析与数值两种方法，数值算法基于实空间重整化群技术。
