GRO J1655--40光学极化中的相位变动

我们报告对超光源GRO J1655--40的新型光学极化观测结果，于1997年7月于阿根廷Complejo Astronomico El Leoncito的2.15米望远镜上，使用Torino Observatory的多通道光度极化仪器完成。观测到的极化程度在主要的V和I波段显示出与系统轨道周期相符的振荡。这提供了关于该双星系统物理与几何属性的信息，并确认了光学连续辐射具有本征极化。极化光的起源很可能与来自盘状星体的电子散射有关。
