与等离子体推进及类似技术相关的 ExB 放电物理研究展望

摘要

本文就外界磁场垂直于放电电流施加的器件物理理解的最新进展提供展望。该构型产生强电场,其作用于离子加速。此设置的众多应用包括航天器推进的推力产生以及等离子体质量分离装置中的物种分离。这些 ExB 等离子体受到等离子体-壁相互作用效应以及各种微观和宏观不稳定性的影响,且在许多器件中我们观察到异常输运的出现。本展望介绍了当前对这些现象物理机制的理解、最先进的计算结果,指出了关键问题,并提出了未来研究的方向。
