摘要
本文推导出具有最新独立距离测量的银河Cepheid星的周期-亮度(PL)关系。我们的PL关系确认了Tammann等人(2003)的结果，显示银河Cepheid星遵循不同于其鲁宾星系巨型星团(LMC)对应物的PL关系。我们的结果还表明，银河PL关系的斜率与LMC斜率在超过95%的置信水平下不一致。我们将该银河PL关系应用于求得NGC 4258的距离。我们的结果mu_o=29.49±0.06(随机误差)mag，与来自水雾测量的几何距离mu_geo=29.28±0.15mag在约1.4sigma水平上一致。
