再电离时期前景的参数化:利用MWA对低频点源光谱的深度巡天

摘要

追求探测再电离时期(EoR)信号的实验依赖于低频处源谱的光谱平滑性。本文通过使用45小时观测,对MWA EoR场之一中586个最亮未分辨源测量高分辨率全偏振谱,实证探索了前景谱对EoR实验的影响。采用一种新颖的剥离方案从可见度中扣除2500个源,并进行电离层和波束校正,产生了迄今为止最深的、受混淆限制的MWA图像。结果发现所得光谱受仪器效应影响,这限制了对源本征光谱结构可设置的约束。分析了光谱的灵敏度和功率谱,发现残差的光谱主要由附近未反卷积源的PSF旁瓣主导。我们发布了一个描述每个测量源光谱参数的星表。
