交变磁体中没有净磁化强度既是优点（无杂散场），也是缺点（没有明显的方法通过外部场操纵交变磁畴）。然而，实验证明 MnTe 没有可测量的杂散场，却又能被外部磁场控制——这是一种双赢的局面。在本文中，我们揭示了这一特性的微观机制。它似乎源于三种不同机制的协同作用。对 MnTe 这些有益特性的微观理解，为可控设计用于自旋电子学应用的类似交变磁体开辟了道路。
