多铁性六方正铁氧体 RFeO3 (R=Ho, Er, Lu) 的光学性质与电子结构

摘要
我们报道了对多铁性六方(P.G. 6mm)稀土正铁氧体 RFeO3 (R=Ho, Er, Lu) 外延生长于 ZrO2(Y2O3) 衬底 (111) 面上的薄膜的光学研究。在 0.6-5.6 eV 范围内的光吸收研究表明,薄膜在 1.9 eV 以下透明;在此能量以上可区分出四个宽而强的吸收带。在分析吸收光谱时考虑了 Fe(3+) 离子异常的五配位。4.9 eV 处光吸收的温度依赖性在 124 K 表现出反常,我们将其归因于铁亚晶格的磁有序。
