介电环的光学画廊：回音壁模式的对应极反例

摘要
给出了具有矩形截面的介电环光子本征模的总体图像，其从根本上不同于圆盘回音壁模式（whispering gallery modes）。矩形介电环的光谱由无限多组独立的画廊组成，每组均起始于因两对侧面的作用而产生的宽横向径向或轴向法布里-珀罗（Fabry-Pérot）共振。每个画廊随后延续为一组成等间距的纵向模式，其品质因子呈指数增长。由于柱面谐波的周期性，横向径向与轴向模式在 Fano-Lorentz-Fano-Lorentz... 序列中表现出线轮廓的严格周期性。理论与实验结果完全吻合。
