开源软件可持续性模型：癌症研究信息学技术可持续性及产业合作工作组的初步白皮书

摘要
可持续性与产业合作工作组（SIP-WG）是美国国家癌症研究所癌症研究信息学技术（ITCR）计划的一部分。SIP-WG的章程是调研由ITCR开发的开源软件（OSS）长期可持续性方案，部分途径是开发一套可作为ITCR OSS开发计划可持续性计划的商业模式原型。该工作组从ITCR计划、其他研究以及通过其与其它组织（如Chan Zuckerberg Initiative、Open Source Initiative和Software Sustainability Institute）的广泛关系网络收集模型。本文回顾现有的可持续性模型，描述由SIP-WG及其他方面传播的十个OSS用例，并强调五个关键属性（与未满足的科学需求一致、专门的开发团队、活跃的用户社区、可行的许可模型以及可持续的财务模型），以协助学术软件开发者在软件可持续性方面实现最佳实践。
