盘中行星产生的涡旋

摘要
一个低质量行星在二维气态盘中运行会产生一臂螺旋涡旋。我们将这一现象解释为盘中波模式之间构造性干涉的结果，类似于船舶涡流中克莱因楔。该特征在具有热力学分层的三维盘中则不预期出现。
