如果从宇宙背景辐射和大尺度结构观测中推断得到原始标量和张量扰动谱，那么或许可以期待重建产生这些观察到谱的唯一单场初始势。本文我们检讨了在何种条件下可以可靠地重建这种势。只有当谱能被Taylor级数良好拟合时，才可能实现重建。完整的重建需要在微波背景中测量统计显著的张量模式。我们发现观测不确定性支配于慢滚近似使用的理论误差，并得出结论，重建程序永远不会滥发地导致一个不相关的势。
