论面向语言学的深度网络分析在语言理论建构中的恰当作用

摘要
近来兴起了一个活跃的研究领域，利用实验方法探查现代深度网络的 linguistic 行为。尽管该传统下的工作常报告关于深度网络语法能力的引人关注的结果，但其对语言理论建构的启示尚不明晰。因此，面向语言学的深度网络分析对广义语言学影响甚微。在本章中，我认为深度网络应被视为对语言话语可接受性作出明确预测的理论。我主张，若我们能克服阻碍认真践行此想法的若干障碍，我们将获得一种强有力的新理论工具，可对主流代数方法形成补充。
