关于金属丰度最低的行星状星云及其双星中心星

摘要
PN G135.9+55.9是我们银河系中已知金属丰度最低的行星状星云。其中心星位于一个短周期双星系统中，伴星是致密天体，可能是一颗白矮星。我们描述了新的观测结果，这些观测使我们能够确定轨道周期。两颗恒星质量之和的下限接近白矮星的Chandrasekhar极限，这使得该双星系统可能成为Ia型超新星的前身。该双星系统必定是最近才从共同包层阶段脱离出来的。
