我们报告发现了一个极近的食双星系统。一颗核心氦燃烧的致密热亚矮星以短至 的周期绕一颗白矮星运行，使该系统成为迄今发现的最致密的热亚矮星双星。该亚矮星将在少于 的短时间内开始转移富氦物质。尽管该白矮星的质量小于 Chandrasekhar 极限（），但其表面的氦燃烧点火可能会触发核心的碳燃烧，使得该双星成为 Ia 型超新星事件的可能前身星候选体。
