摘要

本文证明，含有中微子马约拉纳质量项的标准模型拉格朗日量不存在非平凡解。由于标准模型被普遍认为能正确描述中微子的规范相互作用，马约拉纳质量项必须为零，因而无法促成无中微子双β衰变。更一般地，具有标准模型规范相互作用的中微子不可能是马约拉纳场。本文还分析了未能更早得出此结论的历史原因。
