对Srikanth（1999）的陈述进行了讨论。关于Poynting-Robertson drag的标准定义，Srikanth（1999）的结果是错误的。Srikanth关于等温条件与“红移”的论断也予以讨论。将Srikanth的结果推广至最一般的运动方程情形：即动量损失率与成正比（忽略高阶项），其中v为（日心）速度，c为光速。
