HiRes探测器观察GZK截止

摘要
High Resolution Fly's Eye（HiRes）实验已观察到GZK截止。HiRes观测到超高能宇宙射线（UHECR）能谱中两个特征：在4×10^18 eV处的踝部（Ankle），以及在6×10^19 eV处的能量抑制。后一特征恰好位于根据E_{1/2}准则预测的GZK截止能量处。HiRes无法在更低能量处声称观察到第三特征，即Second Knee。 presented HiRes的单目光谱，以及显示我们对能量和通量测量中系统不确定性控制和理解的数据。
