HiRes 实验观测到 GZK 截止效应

摘要
High Resolution Fly's Eye(HiRes)实验已经观测到 GZK 截止效应。HiRes 对宇宙射线通量的测量显示，在能量为 eV 时出现尖锐的抑制，正是预期的截止能量。我们也观察到了宇宙射线光谱的“脚踝”现象，能量为 eV。我们描述了实验、数据收集、分析以及系统不确定性的估计。结果被呈现，以及对五个标准偏差的 GZK 截止观测计算被描述。
