摘要

我们研究了气态玻色-爱因斯坦凝聚体中的量子耗尽。光学晶格增强了原子间相互作用并改变了色散关系，导致强量子耗尽。耗尽部分在飞行时间图像中作为弥散背景被直接观测到。Bogoliubov理论对我们观测到的超过50%的耗尽部分给出了半定量描述。
