描述莫特绝缘体中长寿命的光掺杂态具有挑战性，因为这需要处理指数级分离的时标。我们展示了如何利用数值精确的稳态技术（特别是量子蒙特卡罗）计算此类态的性质：采用对分布函数的时间局域化 ansatz，对电子与空穴准粒子分别使用独立的费米函数。模拟表明，莫特能隙对大量光掺杂保持鲁棒，且光掺杂态具有性质被强烈重整化的空穴与电子准粒子。
